Project 9 Irish Dates

Project 9 return to Ireland in May - see live dates for details. The band, formed by Nik in 2011, plays an amalgam of (more or less) all the bands Nik has formed in his musical career, past, present and future.

Outriders of Apocalypse

Nik Turner's Outriders of Apocalypse played the 2011 September Alchemy Festival as Saturday night headliner on the Liberty Stage. Further dates are being planned for the band, which is inspired by mythological tales from Central America and draws together musicians and performers who have played with Nik over the years.

For the debut performance, the Outriders were Nik Turner (sax, flute, vox), Mick Slattery (guitar), Beverly Crome (trumpet), Suzi Owen (trombone), Gregg McKella (ambience and clarinet), Nazar Ali Khan (space bass), Gary Smart (bass), Meurig Griffiths (drums), Ola Belo (vox), Bran Bobicca (vox), with dancers Angel Flame, Gemma Little and Beauty Big.

The Outriders play the Venus Love Experience Festival in Glastonbury on 4th June (see live dates).
