Nik is featured on two archive releases by Hawkwind from the classic seventies era.

Parallel Universe is a 3 CD compilation from the Liberty/UA albums (1970 - 74) and features unreleased versions of classic Hawkwind songs alongside two previously unheard tracks - Hog Farm and Take What You Can.

Leave No Star Unturned on Easy Action Recordings is a live recording from The Cambridge Corn Exchange in January 1972.

Nik features on the new album by The Moor called Memoirs of Rossum. The Moor is not music, it's a state of mind!

Nik Turner's been captured and dragged down into Hades, where he's found and freed by those annoying Post Bros, a pair of interdimensionally infamous scoundrels. Can these bad boys from Bugtown protect Nik from a deadly army of the dead? Or will the Dark Lord force Nik to blow the Anubis Horn and summon Hell on Earth? To foil this diabolical scheme,they might need the help of Hiroshima, Bugtown's nuclear earth mother.

Five brand new recordings by the Nik Turner Band have been uploaded to Nik's MySpace site - Hot Barbeque, Mellow Saxophone, Nickio, Shake Everything and Skankin. The tracks feature Nik, Dave, Gaz and Meurig, and were recorded by Jon Turner at Back Bedroom Studio in Cardigan.

Many thanks to all of you who attended the Barney Bubbles memorial concert in London.

Nik played with a headline set of classic space rock with the Hawklords, featuring former members of Hawkwind.

He also played sets with Inner City Unit and the Imperial Pompodours. Both of these bands featured founder members Judge Trev and Dino Ferrari, alongside longtime bassist and Barney Bubbles collaborator Nazar Ali Khan.

The event also featured Quintessence, Gerry Fitzgerald and Lol Coxhill, the Pentameter Players and Trev & Kev.

Thunder Rider is currently recording an album of Mexican mariachi tunes at Back Bedroom Studio in Cardigan.

Nik Turner and Friends played the music of Robert Calvert at a memorial gig for Robert on Sunday 28th Sept at Kings Hall in Herne Bay, commemorating the twentieth anniversary of the death of the Hawkwind poet and vocalist.

Players from Pentameters Theatre performed two plays by Robert - "The Stars that Play with Laughing Sam's Dice" and "Cattle at Twilight".
